Awards


Co-winner of 3rd place in creativity and innovation of 11th Kharazmi International Festival, as designer of algorithmes for OBCR (Optical Braille Character Recognition) software for blinds in PACTOS Co., February 1997.

Winner of 5th position IRAN state's Mathematics Olympiad (Tournament) between 4th year of high school of all over Iranian high schools, hold by Iranian Ministry of Education, October 1985.



Research Experiences


Large Prime Numbers. Developing algorithms for predicting large prime numbers and testing primality with normal personal computers. 2012.

Literature review on P-NP problem in complexity of algorithms and developing an idea to connect P-NP problem to other theories. 2011.

On abrupt cut detection in video streams under supervision of Professor Heinz Dieter Knoell, and D.I. Holger Gehrt,  resulted to an algorithm with more than 99% correct detection on a 2 hours video stream from NIST. 2001.

On SPICE, Software Process Improvement and Capability Evaluation (Determination) under supervision of Professor Heinz Dieter Knoell. Literature review as course project for the course “Quality Assurance in the Software Lifecycle”. 1999.

Developing algorithms for Optical Braille Character Recognition for blinds in PACTOS Co. resulted to an application (software) for blinds’ libraries. 1997.

Cooperation in algorithm development for Orthodontic image processing on skulls’ photos to find out critical points (lines) with Dr. Alireza Keshvad during his PhD. 1991.

Programming for evaluating, testing, and developing theories and lemmas on block designs under supervision of Professor S. E. Mahmoodian. 1990.
